State Sales Manager - UK-Listed Multinational

This well-established and respected company is a UK-listed multinational and a distributor of industrial and electrical products to a wide range of companies across many different industries throughout the world. An opening exists for an experienced sales professional with a sales management background in industrial and electrical products and a network of relationships within the manufacturing and transportation sectors to join the organisation in Victoria to manage sales for the state and lead a team of sales executives.

In this role you will be responsible for devising, implementing and managing sales strategy and achieving financial objectives by identifying account opportunities and winning new business, establishing long-term relationships with new and existing customers, and leading, managing and motivating a team of sales executives to optimise their performance and deliver on their targets.

 - Skilled in direct sales, sales and people management
 - Demonstrable sales track record of success
 - In-depth knowledge and understanding of industrial and electrical products
 - Network of contacts and relationships in the manufacturing and transportation sectors
 - Able to travel state-wide on a weekly basis
